Fife Council organises European, UK and Scottish Parliamentary elections as well as elections for Fife Council and community councils. In this section:

- Find out how to register for school board elections. The council is responsible for organising and running school board elections. Parents who want to stand for election must make sure they're registered on the school's electoral roll of parents, which is held by each school

Civic Affairs
The Provost and the Depute Provost attend many events throughout the year which promote Fife and celebrate the achievements of people in Fife, as individuals and as part of a group.

Through a system of committees, councillors contribute to decision-making about the Council's budget, policies, priorities, and about how services can best be provided in Fife.
Community Councils
Community councils are elected every three years. The public are given the opportunity to be involved in decisions which affect their local communities within Fife.
